Ages 3 to 4
Wonder Nook Preschool is where children learn to share, take turns and ask for what they want in a polite effective way. There is open access to art materials, allowing children to create independently and at will. Manipulatives of increasing complexity help children develop their cognitive skills as well as fine motor skills. Social interactions and communication are key areas of focus in this class to encourage the explosion of language development coming from the children. Here is also where true friendships can begin to develop as children’s social skills blossom. Our curriculum changes throughout the year according to the children’s interests. While we have a daily schedule that provides a comfortable routine for the children – the projects, stories and special events vary based upon the theme chosen by children’s interests.
